Engineering Specifications

Grey cast iron catch basin with 6” outlet and two 4” side inlets as per Saudi Aramco Standard drawing AB -036402 and with 3″ cleanout plug according to BS EN 1561:1997.

Designed for refinery use with water seal which prevents the escape of removable gas and toxic vapors to the atmosphere. Removable grate and 3” threaded pipe plug to ease the regular maintenance.

Catch Basin Body is made of flake graphite Cast iron (Grey cast iron) confirming ASTM A48.

Grate is made of spheroidal graphite cast iron (ductile iron) confirming ASTM A536.

3” threaded pipe plug is made of galvanized iron.

Casting is coated with black bitumen paint.

Coal tar epoxy paint can be also provided as on special request.
