FD-4080EXGX series of general purpose roof drains consist of a large sump cast iron body with bottom outlet, a removable Cast Iron or Nickel Bronze dome strainer, non-puncturing membrane flashing clamp with integral gravel stop, adjustable Extension Sleeve, and stainless steel perforated Extension.

AREA OF APPLICATION
Used in IRMA flat roof construction (inverted roof membrane assembly).The adjustable extension sleeve permits adjustment, easily accommondating different structural slab thicknesses until 24cm. The benefit of using the extension in this model is to connect the pipe with drain body out and under the slab making the maintainance works easier when using thick slab. The dome provides maximum free area for quick drainage of rain water through the large sump body and protects the drain and connected piping from the intrusion of debris. The Flashing (V-Shape) clamp holds flashing and roofing materials to the drain body without puncturing. The stainless steel extension gravel stop at height specified is supplied to retain the crushed gravel used in IRMA flat roof construction.
